DonationDoubler promotes donation matching opportunities to help victims of recent natural disasters
EVERGREEN, Colo. – In the wake of the recent destruction caused by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan and the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, scores of organizations, businesses and even celebrities have made pledges to match donations for the victims of these catastrophic natural disasters.
DonationDoubler.org (http://www.donationdoubler.org), a non-profit organization based in Evergreen, Colo., provides an information portal to promote donation matching and challenge grant opportunities to help donors make the most of their charitable giving.
Within days of the most recent tragedies, companies such as Bank of America, BP Oil, Groupon, Brookstone, and celebrities such as Justin Bieber, have made pledges to match donations to victims and relief efforts.
With death tolls expected to reach over 10,000 in Japan, Donation Doubler provides an excellent opportunity to double the impact of your donation to the relief efforts of the natural disasters.
Dozens of donation matching opportunities have already been added to the website. Donation Doubler staff will continue to add new donation matching opportunities as they become available.
Charities and organizations with donation matching opportunities are encouraged to contact Donation Doubler for assistance in promoting their donation matching programs. Suggestions and links can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
