PainCare CEO to match up to $20K in donations for animal shelter
SOMERSWORTH — PainCare CEO Dr. Michael O’Connell will once again show his support for animals in need in the Tri-City area during the holiday season by matching all donations made to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society in the month of December.
According to a release from PainCare, O’Connell matched donations to the Humane Society “in one form or another” for more than 10 years. This year he will again match up to $20,000 in donations to the animal shelter. Last year, he matched a full $20,000 for CVHS, which surpassed that amount in actual donations in December.
Donations to CVHS go toward a number of programs and services, including placement of homeless animals into homes throughout the community, assistance in animal cruelty and subsequent rescue cases and community awareness programs, among others.
To find out more information about what CVHS does within the community and to donate to its cause, visit www.cvhsonline.org and click the “Donate Today” button on the home page. Make sure to enter “Holiday Match” in the description of the donation box in order to have your gift matched by O’Connell.
